Time at the Bar

January 2026

Time at the Bar is a dark comedy-drama that begins with a wake and spirals into a surreal, time-traveling night out.

It follows Isaac, John, and Tina—three friends (and siblings, in the case of Isaac and John)—as they navigate grief, family tension, and the absurdity of modern life.

Isaac is faced with conflicting feelings after attending his brother Garry’s wake, his close friend Tina supports him and his younger brother John grates on him.

During an evening at the longstanding club ‘Borealis’ the trio are sent back in time to 1994, embracing the full retro slap of cheap pints and rave culture.

Unsure of how to return, the group must find a way back before closing time, however a familiar face delivers a shocking revelation.

Time at the Bar is a story about night out culture, close friends and most importantly, family. How those close to you do not define you and true love is inspiring the ones you care about to live their lives, whether close or far, here or passed on.
